Course Description
Special topics in advanced theory and techniques of entertainment technology, including scenery construction and rigging, costume construction, lighting technology, and sound.
Additional Requirements for Graduate Students:
Graduate students will be expected to complete all the same
requirements as the undergraduates. In addition, they will be
expected to conduct in-depth research into an area related to
the course's special topic (which fluctuates as the need arises).
Typical graduate experiential capstones include complex practical
techincal project, presentation of specific research on assigned
topic, or advanced engineered portfolio work.

Course Objectives
Students will learn to explore the art of Theatre Design by examining the supporting materials and documents provided by the Scenic Designer for the production team. The student will develop skills in conventional hand drafting and the interpreting of those documents.
