Performance achievement in technical field evaluation through National Occupational Competency Testing Institute or official scores submitted from a health care credential agency. Technological studies students are administered comprehensive performance examination on tasks common to specific occupational field. Credit recommended by comparing scores with national norms.

Course Objectives
1. Perform a wide variety of hand tool operations related to a technical field. 2. Perform a variety of operations common to a technical field with power tools, machines, and equipment. 3. Demonstrate correct safety procedures while performing technical tasks. 4. Perform manipulative skills required to inspect, adjust, and repair technical products. 5. Demonstrate the application of diagnostic equipment and procedures to troubleshoot technical problems. 6. Maintain tools, machines, and equipment according to manufacturer's specifications.
