Job search issues and career and life planning. Assists students in making the transition from the academic community to the work environment. At the conclusion of the class, students should be better able to make decisions relating to their future career directions and successfully execute a self-directed job search.

Course Objectives
The objective of this course is to aid students enrolled in the Interdisciplinary Certificate in Personal and Organizational Leadership to develop better understandings of the organizational environments in which they will work, along with the knowledge to make good decisions regarding their careers. Students will also develop materials and skills for more effectively marketing themselves to employers.
