Course Objectives
To prepare prospective teachers to teach French at the college level. Students examine the theoretical foundation of pedagogical methods and strategies. They become familiar with the professional literature and discuss general issues of language teaching and learning. They develop lessons plans, design evaluation procedures, observe experienced teachers, and practice procedures of classroom instruction. Focus is on teaching language in communicative context.
