The director's analysis of the script, the actor-director relationship, and theatrical style. Each student directs a one-act play or short film.
Additional Requirements for Graduate Students:
Graduate students do more extensive theory research and must attempt more complex and sophisticated projects.

Course Objectives
To enable the student to discover the style inherent in a given playscript. To enable the student to envision, articulate, and employ original interpretations of playscripts. To continue to strengthen the student's basic skills in the directorial process and in working with actors. To provide the student director with the necessary tools to manipulate theatrical space.
