Critical and practical work in producing new scripts for writers, actors, directors, and designers.

Additional Requirements for Graduate Students:
Graduate students will be assigned additional research and more demanding writing and production tasks.

  • Students will understand the roles, tasks, organization, and skills necessary to bring a new theatrical script to a public viewing.
  • Students will develop and finalize theatrical concepts and production strategies for new play development.
  • Students will collaborate with a team of practitioners with diverse disciplinary backgrounds to bring a new script to the stage.
