Course Objectives

By employing case evaluations and published evaluations of cases the student will establish a command of diagnostic and treatment strategies for food animals. Through this format students will be exposed a wide range clinical cases and mentored by experienced clinicians. Through discussion,students will develop critical analytic skills and learn to move an idea forward.


Topical Outline

Students and faculty will present clinical cases for discussion. The focus will be on development of diagnostic protocols, solution options, and forward looking prevention plans. Complete analysis of unusual cases will be expected of the student. Further, students will be expected to present unique cases in the format of publishable case reports.
