Course Objectives
1. To examine the relationship between grammar and language use. 2. To gain a thorough understanding of the organization of grammatical structures and their role in creating and under- standing messages. Students will demonstrate this knowledge through exercises in class, analysis of written and oral texts, data collection and oral presentations, in-class tests and a final exam.
