Student Learning Outcomes

  • Students will improve their written and spoken French as well as their interpretive skills by analyzing, in French, representative texts and films from Francophone Africa and/or the Francophone Caribbean.
  • Students will learn to think critically about the past and present impact of French colonialism on France's former colonies.
