Course Description

Focuses on the structure and function of cells. Exploration of the biological questions, molecular mechanisms, and experimental approaches of our and other's research. Students will learn how to present topics in cell biology via oral and written exercises.

  • Students will gain understanding of current research in cellular biology. This advanced class will not be limited to the literature but use multiple resources to engage in cellular biology.
  • Students should be able to understand current research in cellular biology from their peers, guest speakers, and the literature.
  • Students should be able to present and discuss research in cellular biology via oral and written presentations.
  • Students should be able to learn how to adjust material to different audiences by developing lectures and teaching tools.
