Course Objectives

1. To identify and examine various theories and conceptual frameworks currently used in merchandising research. 2. To assess merchandising research studies use of theoretical and conceptual frameworks. 3. Students are required to produce a work of original research which integrates at least two classical theories. 4. This course prepares doctoral students for academic scholarship.
