Course Objectives
This course will help students enhance their ability: 1. To examine contextual elements that are inherently conducive to conflict; 2. To understand a variety of causes that lead to selected conflict situations; 3. To analyze the effectiveness of different conflict resolutions mechanisms; 4. To articulate strategies and tactics for peacemaking and peacekeeping.
