Course Objectives
Students will acquire a working knowledge of a specialized topic relevant to contemporary physics research, broadening their experience beyond the physics canon. After the course, students will have the necessary background for further pursuit of the topic, whether it be through research, future advanced classes, or individual study of the topical literature.
