Students will demonstrate ability to play or sing selected scales, arpeggios, and/or other appropriate technique-building studies.
Students will demonstrate ability to extemporaneously communicate one's own musical ideas, given certain parameters such as key, form, meter, harmonic progression, etc., in a variety of performance situations and musical styles.
