Course Description
Assigned artistic production work in directing, acting, design, technology, dramaturgy under the supervision of a faculty advisor relative to the student's area of interest; performance, technical, design, media, management.
Additional Requirements for Graduate Students:
Graduate students must display a leadership role in production
and will be expected to present additional samples of their
research, reading lists, designs, and dramaturgy throughout the
production process. This may include social, historical,
critical, technical, or creative research. All graduate
students will document their research and analysis through an
additional paper, journal, or project.

Course Objectives
Experience in the actual artistic work of theatrical, video, film production, resulting in an enhanced understanding of artistic collaboration and more refined skills. Each advisor is responsible for assignments, but they must include one of the following to support the pedagogy of production: 1) Students must keep a journal of their process, 2) Students must write an assessment paper, 3) Students are presented with specific criteria/tasks they must complete and a corresponding grading rubric.
