Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the successful student will be able to: * identify all major and minor scales and triads from within keys via dictation or sight-singing. * identify short diatonic melodies through dictation or sight-singing. * play and improvise short diatonic chord progressions at the keyboard. * aurally analyze short, simple musical excerpts using Roman numerals.
