Course Description
Leadership lab is a dynamic and integrated grouping of leadership developmental activities designed to meet the needs and expectations of prospective Air Force second lieutenants and complement the Air Force ROTC academic program. It is a student planned, organized, and executed practicum conducted under the supervision of the detachment commander and commandant of cadets.

Course Objectives
Provide cadets returning from field training sufficient opportunities to demonstrate and develop the leadership and management skills needed to successfully function as an active duty officer.
Topical Outline
Meet required AFROTC weight and fitness standards. Apply AF customs and courtesies. Apply AF dress and grooming standards. Participate in an activity that demonstrates unit formal dinner customs and procedures. Participate in a unit formal reveille/retreat. Participate in a unit formal parade. Participate in a unit formal awards ceremony. Apply the AFOATS Training Guide philosophy in supervising the cadet corps. Demonstrate leadership and management skills in supervising the cadet corps or through advanced leadership experiences. Comprehend the importance of adhering to AF Core Values.
