Course Description
Leadership lab is a dynamic and integrated grouping of leadership developmental activities designed to meet the needs and expectations of prospective Air Force second lieutenants and complement the Air Force ROTC academic program. It is a student planned, organized and executed practicum conducted under the supervision of the detachment commander and commandant of cadets.

Course Objectives
Provide cadet to be commissioned additional opportunities to demonstrate and develop the leadership and management skills needed to successfully function as an active duty officer and to adequately prepare them to transition from the ROTC environment to active duty.
Topical Outline
Meet required AFROTC weight and fitness standards. Apply AF customs and courtesies. Apply AF dress and grooming standards. Participate in an activity that demonstrates unit formal dinner customs and procedures. Participate in a unit formal reveillel/retreat. Participate in a unit formal parade. Participate in a unit formal awards ceremony. apply the AFOATS Training Guide philosophy in supervising the cadet corps. Demonstrate leadership and management skills in supervising the cadet corps or through advanced leadership experiences. Comprehend the importance of adhering to AF Core Values.
