Chamber Music Ensemble
Course Description
Directed chamber music experiences in variable instrumental and
vocal catagories (percussion, clarinet, trombone, etc.).
Additional Requirements for Graduate Students: Graduate students will:
- conduct necessary research and prepare moderately extensive
program notes for compositions performed in concert;
- submit a written harmonic and/or stylistic analysis of one of
the compositions prepared during the semester.

Ability to perform a chamber work in a public concert.
Ability to discuss historical background, performance practice,
and technical aspects of other works read during the semester.

chamber works.
