Course Description
This course will allow students to engage in independent directed research.
Additional Requirements for Graduate Students:
Graduate students will be expected to read more extensively and
to integrate research materials more thoroughly, and will be
graded with higher standards and expectations than will
undergraduate students. This might entail, for example, an
integrated review of primary research that is extended and
applied towards a topic of the student's choosing, or synthesis
and critique of the material as evidenced through more
extensive essay exams, or a demonstration of mastery through an
applied project beyond the requirements for undergraduate
students.
