Course Objectives
This course is the second level and includes the continued practice of fundamental classical ballet exercises and will provide practice of beginning/intermediate level proficiency skills. An understanding of proper body mechanics and the French vocabulary for ballet will also be emphasized.
Topical Outline
Class will meet two days per week and will consist of beginning/intermediate level classical ballet exercises at the barre, au milieu classical ballet vocabulary and theories of order, tempo, placement and musicality.
