Senior level of practical experience in conducting music therapy sessions with selected clients. Includes more in-depth assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of weekly music therapy sessions throughout the semester.

Student will demonstrate ability to: * select, design, and implement effective culturally-based methods for assessing the clients's strengths and weaknesses through the use of musical activities; * identify the client's appropriate and inappropriate responses in the context of musical activities; * select, design, and implement effective culturally-based methods for assessing the client's musical preferences and level of musical functioning or development.
