Course Objectives
The student will: Shadow a faculty member in his or her responsibilities for engaging in service activities for the institution and for learned societies. Team-teach with a faculty member a significant portion of at least one graduate course. Attend university-sponsored cultural events. Examine literature about the academic life, including critiques, scholarly analyses, and fictional depictions.
