Course Objectives
The major objective of this course is to provide students an opportunity to hear various faculty members from MCG speak of their basic biomedical or clinical research. Students completing this course will have a better understanding and appreciation of biomedical research.
Topical Outline
This course features lectures by a variety of MCG faculty speaking on contemporary research, basic and clinical, in the biomedical field. These lectures will extend and augment the parent course, Human Biochemistry and Disease. Students are expected to engage in discussion with the instructors and will write a paper each week.
