Course Objectives
The student will be able to: 1. Implement, modify, and/or create strategies for class management related to teaching net/wall activities as categorized by the Teaching Games for Understanding Approach. 2. Explain and demonstrate the ability to apply rules of net/wall activities. 3. Demonstrate organizational skills and strategies necessary for net/wall activities in K-12 physical education programs. 4. Adapt to alternative teaching methods and environments to meet the needs of diverse students. 5. Utilize verbal reinforcement as a motivational technique. 6. Demonstrate basic skills for net/wall activities including, but not limited to, badminton, volleyball, tennis, and pickleball.
