Course Objectives
The student will: 1. Study and understand relevant federal and state constitutional provisions. 2. Study and understand the governance structures and institutions formed by constitutional provisions, and examine their roles in the establishment, implementation, and assessment of education policies. 3. Review significant federal and state legislation, regulations, and case law concerning current and emerging education policy issues. 4. Draft and present model legislation, regulations, and policies concerning current and emerging education policy issues.
