Philosophical investigation and evaluation of feminist philosophy, examining such approaches as liberal feminism, socialist feminism, radical feminism, ecofeminism, and other feminist approaches.

Course Objectives
Students will be able to articulate and critically engage with key issues in feminist philosophy. They will be better able to judge and understand ethical behavior in social applications. They will also be better able to balance the greater common good against the needs of the individual. Communicating effectively through writing and speech, relevant use of the computer, and critical thinking are all stressed. During the course the student should be improving in each of these skill areas.
