Activities include hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, caving,
rafting, sailing, mountain biking, horseback riding, backpacking,
snorkeling, and snow skiing.

Program (GORP), Department of Recreational Sports.

The student will demonstrate a basic knowledge of the fundamental skills and strategy of outdoor activities.
The student will gain an appreciation for outdoor activities as a way to exercise and improve overall health in life.
The student will understand the importance of physical activity as it relates to a healthy lifestyle.
The student will demonstrate their knowledge of health-related fitness topics such as aerobic fitness, muscle strength and endurance, flexibility, nutrition, and behavior modification.
