Course Description

This course will challenge students physically and mentally to work cooperatively to solve problems in order to negotiate the the outdoor and indoor low and high ropes courses and the UGA climbing wall.

  • Students will develop trust and confidence while conducting problem-solving activities as a group.
  • Students will gain an appreciation for challenge courses as a way to exercise and improve overall health in life

  • Students will be able to demonstrate their basic knowledge of health-related fitness topics, such as benefits of physical activity and exercise, FITT principle, goal-setting, mental health and exercise, wellness and nutrition.
