Course Description
Ethical frameworks (relativism, utilitarianism, Kantianism, social contract theory, etc.), case studies and other techniques for effective ethics instruction, assessment techniques, and designs for delivery of instruction within workforce education contexts. Emphasis given to ethics in technology, engineering, business, marketing, family and consumer science, and trade and industrial education.

Course Objectives
Learners successfully completing this course will be able to: 1. Describe a rationale for providing ethics instruction within the context of workforce education. 2. Explain strategies for solving ethical dilemmas. 3. Identify major ethical perspectives and associate them with underlying philosophies. 4. Develop instructional materials and activities to facilitate learning related to ethics within the context of workforce education. 5. Provide guidance for finding resources and existing materials associated with ethics and ethics instruction. 6.Assess the effectiveness of workforce education ethics instruction.
