Planning Instruction in Secondary English Education
Course Description
In this course, students navigate two essential functions of a thriving secondary English classroom: planning and instruction. The work in this course delves deeply into assessments of and for learning; incorporate knowledge of language in historical, conventional, and structural contexts; and engage in and with multiple modes of texts.
Additional Requirements for Graduate Students: Graduate students will be required to submit a full-year course
plan for at least one course pegged to standards and with unit
assessments and concepts in place.
