Course Objectives
Differentiate national (federal, state, and community) and international health public agencies and non-governmental health organizations. Describe key issues in health care economics. Examine multicultural health issues and identify community health resources which address these issues. Apply epidemiology in community health planning. Compare community health programs addressing chronic and communicable diseases, the environment, special populations, and social problems. Identify current trends in community health. Critique the relationship between behavior change, social norms, and legislation.
