Students will identify theory of behavior and social change to inform the development, implementation, and evaluation of health interventions for targeted populations.
Students will justify the role of theory in the design and implementation of individual, community, and policy-level health promotion programs.
Students will examine the cultural, social, environmental, and behavioral determinants of health and health disparities.
Students will interpret the meaning of conceptual and operational definitions of theoretical constructs.
Students will assess the influence of culture (e.g., gender, race, ethnicity, country of origin) in the development and application of theory.
