Course Objectives
By the end of the course the student will be able to: Analyze historical trends and paradigmatic shifts in the applicaion of health promotion interventions and evaluation strategies. Investigate intervention strategies and critique the application of theories and models used in the development and implementation of those strategies in health interventions at the individual, group, and community levels. Review and critique evaluation strategies used in the testing of health inteventions at the individual, group, and community levels. Compare and contrast effective intervention strategies that are appropriate at the individual, group, and community levels. Distinguish and emply appropriate methodological and statistical techniques in the evaluation of health interventions.
