Course Objectives
Once a year, PhD level graduate students that have successfully passed their comprehensive examinations will present a formal seminar highlighting their own research programs. All graduate students are required to attend and critique. The primary purposes of this program are to 1) expose students to the varied projects ongoing within the Infectious Diseases program, 2) listen and critically evaluate others' ideas, and 3) learn how to effectively present ones own research. Grades will be assigned based upon attendance, participation, written critiques and a presentation.
Topical Outline
The topics will focus on the most current aspects of infectious disease graduate research in the College of Veterinary Medicine.
