Students will understand the ethics of using human subjects in research and process of obtaining informed consent.
Students will understand the use of animals in experiments and the procedures to ensure adequate care.
Students will understand conflicts of interest and scientific integrity.
Student will be able to identify the principles used in the ethical conduct of research and identify in the literature cases of the appropriate or inappropriate application of this principle.
