Course Objectives
The objective of this course is for the student to complete an independent research project leading to the completion of an MS thesis. This research project is a required component of the MS degree in bioinformatics.
Topical Outline
The topic, research program and time line will be unique to each student and dependent on a selected research project and the granting agency funding research in the laboratory of the students research advisor (major professor). The topical outline and a progress report will be reviewed yearly by the students advisory committee.
