tools appropriate for digital product development, including
graphic, media, and software development tools. Students choose
and contract for the specific tools they plan to learn.

Student learning Outcomes
At the end of the course, participants will be able to demonstrate proficiency with at least one computer-based or Web-based authoring tool.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to demonstrate proficiency with at least one computer-based or Web-based multimedia tool (e.g., drawing, photo editing, animation, video editing).
At the end of the course, participants will be able to design and develop a multimedia project that appropriately uses authoring and multimedia tools.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to demonstrate an understanding of design principles by writing a design journal that documents the design of an independent multimedia project and also integrates personal reflections and design decisions with the design literature.
