Women and Music


Course Description

Roles of women in music, including the history of women musicians in western art music, world cultures, and popular music; gender studies in music.

Additional Requirements for Graduate Students:
Graduate students will be expected to write a paper on topics of wider scope than undergraduates and will present oral reports.
