Course Description
In-depth study of the design process as it applies to the design of residential spaces, advanced space planning techniques, analysis/synthesis methods used in designing interiors, and designing within specified economic constraints. Application of this knowledge to comprehensive studio projects.

Course Objectives
1. Execute housing design research methods in order to fully understand project context, client requirements, and constraints 2. Analyze and synthesize programming information to determine scope 3. Acquire knowledge of advanced space planning techniques and spatial organizational concepts 4. Work within specified budgetary constraints 5. Apply program of study and course knowledge/skills acquired to comprehensive design studio projects
