Course Description
Designed to build the strength, flexibility, endurance, and control necessary for performance of intermediate-advanced level ballet barre exercises, adagio sequences and allegro enchainments. Style, perfection, and performance quality will be emphasized.

Course Objectives
The student will acquire the ability to perform at an intermediate-advanced level of competency in the presentation of classical ballet skills presented in the course which will be graded on an A-F scale by the instructor and at an end of the semester jury evaluation.
Topical Outline
Class will meet two days per week and will consist of: a) barre exercises b) center exercises c) ballet vocabulary d) theories of order, tempo, placement and musicality as taught by the instructor.
