Course Description

Continuation of Elementary Urdu I, emphasizing oral fluency, written expression, and reading comprehension. Taught by the use of vocabulary in simulated settings through repetition drills, frequent use of vocabulary, acting, and reading aloud.

Course Objectives

This course continues the development of oral and written skills begun in Elementary Urdu I and emphasizes conversational competence in common practical situations. 1- read texts of elementary II level difficulty. 2- communicate and converse in Urdu on a variety of topics occurring in everyday situations. 3- write elementary II narrative style paragraphs. 4- develop cultural awareness.
