Course Objectives
Students will: 1. Critique/evaluate strengths and weaknesses of special events. 2. Develop skills needed to propose, plan, execute, and evaluate special events. 3. Supervise the utility, design and implementation of a variety of experiential activities in multiple settings which encompass reflection, critical analysis, and synthesis 4. Gain practical experience by participating in event coordination and execution. 5. Identify risks and benefits of event options/decisions. 6. Develop teamwork skills and an appreciation of collaboration in event planning.
