Practical experience on the application of plant pathological principles and procedures learned outside of a formal classroom setting.

The student will spend the semester in either a university or industry setting obtaining hands-on experience in plant pathology.

Course Objectives

1. To provide practical experience in some aspect of plant health, plant protection, or plant pest management outside the classroom. 2. To provide an opportunity to apply knowledge gained in the classroom to solve real-world problems. Evaluation is based on a written report submitted by the student upon completion of the internship.
