Research and theoretical literature in instructional technology. Review and evaluation of current research in selected areas is emphasized. A synthesis of the literature in an area of interest is completed by each student.

Course Objectives
1. Identify sources of literature relevant to the field of instructional technology. 2. Conduct searches of the literature using automated and manual retrieval methods. 3. Describe the questions asked, techniques used to study, and conclusions drawn from selected areas of current research. 4. Prepare a review of the research in a selected area of study. 5. Identify trends in research questions and methodology in instructional technology.
