This is an online distance learning course designed to educate veterinarians regarding immunology and infectious diseases of poultry.

The students will be reading online lectures in text, powerpoint presentations with written or audio explanation, or there will be voice recorded or video recorded lectures. They will then have assigned readings and discussion boards with other students in the class. The students will have to have internet access.

Course Objectives
The objective of this course is to educate veterinarians on the immunology, etiology, diagnosis, treatment, and management of viral and bacterial pathogens of poultry. At the conclusion of the course, veterinarians are expected to be proficient in differentiating among the important bacterial and viral pathogens of poultry and apply this knowledge to disease diagnosis and management of commercial poultry populations.
