Course Objectives
Provide a research experience to undergraduate students in Nutrition Science. Prepare students for admission to graduate or professional school in which biomedical research is part of the program of study.
Topical Outline
Research in nutrition and diabetes or obesity. Research in nutrition and cancer. Research in behavior related to food consumption and health outcomes. Research in nutrition and heart disease. Research in a topic to be selected after discussion with an advisor or research scientist.
