Course Objectives

Basic overview of knowledge of assigned subjects, critical review of assigned articles, acquaintance with the diversity of neurologic literature, ability to discuss concepts and make deductions. This course will cover topics deemed essential for Board Certification in Veterinary Neurology. Neurology residents require 50 contact hours of specific neuropathology instruction over a three year period to be accredited to sit the Board Certification exam.

Topics are generated by neurology and pathology faculty and are those deemed essential to preparation for Board Certification and practice of Veterinary Neurology and Pathology. Topics rotate on a regular basis and are evaluated and revised each semester for continued relevance to modern clinical neurology and pathology.
