  • After completing this course, students will be able to apply the theories and tools of integrative conservation to real-world situations.
  • After completing this course, students will be comfortable working with academics and practitioners from a range of backgrounds and will be experienced with decision-making in situations of limited or imperfect information.
  • After completing this course, students will also have exposure to a wide range of conservation issues in a variety of settings.

  • I. Overview of using the theories and methodologies of integrative conservation in real-world situations
  • II. Envision the project with partners (e.g. Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians)
  • III. Execute the project (e.g., co-produced report, policy brief, film)
  • IV. Review and finalize the product together
