Internship in Plant Breeding, Genetics, and Genomics


Course Description

Provides work experience with private companies, governmental agencies, or research laboratories working in plant breeding, genetics, and genomics. A report and presentation are required upon completion of the internship.

Non-Traditional Format

Faculty members will arrange work hours with sponsoring agency. Faculty will arrange meeting with students to discuss progress. The credit hours available are variable contingent of the amount of time spent on the internship experience (1 credit hour = 80 hours worked).
